About me

Welcome! I am a co-founder & CTO at Kotoba Technologies, Inc., where our goal is to deploy large language models in Japanese and Asian enterprises. I am also a Research Assistant Professor at the Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago (TTIC), located on the University of Chicago campus.

I earned my Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Washington, advised by Noah A. Smith. Prior to my Ph.D., I received a B.S. in Statistics at Yale University, advised by Robert Frank, Dragomir Radev, and Owen Rambow.
